Wicker

Wicker takes the Romance / Comedy route and wastes little time pretending life is going to remain orderly. Here, romance complicates things just when everyone thinks they have a plan, while the comedy gives those complications room to turn delightfully awkward. The IMDb crowd seems broadly convinced, which is more than can be said for a lot of modern entertainment. The real question is whether the movie can keep its nerve once the setup is established — because a good premise is easy; landing the thing without driving into a hedge is the difficult bit.
