Ellis

Season 2 of Ellis is here, because apparently the characters still had unfinished business. It leans into Crime / Drama, where someone makes a terrible life choice and the consequences arrive right on schedule. The IMDb crowd seems broadly convinced, which is more than can be said for a lot of modern entertainment. The formula is familiar, but that is not automatically a crime; sometimes you want a series to know its job, turn up on time, and get on with it.
