The Traitors

Season 5 puts a group of contestants in a castle, gives some of them permission to lie professionally, and then acts surprised when trust becomes a scarce resource. Missions build the prize pot while faithful players hunt traitors hiding in plain sight. It is basically paranoia with nice interiors, and that remains an annoyingly effective television formula.
