Black Mirror tells standalone stories about technology, society and the human talent for turning useful inventions into psychological nightmares. Phones, algorithms, virtual worlds—whatever we build, somebody eventually finds the worst possible use for it. The series is basically a product launch followed by an anxiety attack.
