Top Gun: Maverick

Top Gun: Maverick is a Action / Drama movie where things explode, plans go sideways, and sensible risk assessment has apparently taken the afternoon off. The audience score suggests this one has earned considerably more goodwill than the average content-shaped object. Expect everyone carries enough emotional baggage to trigger an airline surcharge. It is not trying to solve cinema, cure society or earn a medal for restraint; it just needs the premise to work, the momentum to hold, and the audience to avoid checking the clock every six minutes.
