Strange Darling

Strange Darling takes the Horror / Thriller route and wastes little time pretending life is going to remain orderly. Here, common sense exits early and everyone else is left to deal with the consequences. The IMDb crowd seems broadly convinced, which is more than can be said for a lot of modern entertainment. The real question is whether the movie can keep its nerve once the setup is established — because a good premise is easy; landing the thing without driving into a hedge is the difficult bit.
