Slow Horses

Season 5 of Slow Horses is here, because apparently the characters still had unfinished business. It leans into Drama / Thriller, where everyone carries enough emotional baggage to trigger an airline surcharge. The audience score suggests this one has earned considerably more goodwill than the average content-shaped object. The formula is familiar, but that is not automatically a crime; sometimes you want a series to know its job, turn up on time, and get on with it.
