The Eight Mountains

With The Eight Mountains, the pitch is basically Drama plus enough trouble to keep everyone busy. Everyone carries enough emotional baggage to trigger an airline surcharge. The IMDb crowd seems broadly convinced, which is more than can be said for a lot of modern entertainment. If that sounds like your sort of evening, excellent. If not, no amount of dramatic lighting and expensive marketing is going to perform a miracle.
