Queen of Chess

Queen of Chess follows Judit Polgár as she challenges chess royalty, family pressure and the assumption that the top of the game belonged to men. A fifteen-year climb against players such as Garry Kasparov gives the documentary an obvious advantage: the real competition is already dramatic. No exploding pieces required; the board is hostile enough.
