Lee Cronin's The Mummy

Lee Cronin's The Mummy takes the Horror route and wastes little time pretending life is going to remain orderly. Here, common sense exits early and everyone else is left to deal with the consequences. The rating says it has enough going for it to justify a look, provided the premise is your kind of trouble. The real question is whether the movie can keep its nerve once the setup is established — because a good premise is easy; landing the thing without driving into a hedge is the difficult bit.
