Oppenheimer

Oppenheimer takes the Drama / History route and wastes little time pretending life is going to remain orderly. Here, everyone carries enough emotional baggage to trigger an airline surcharge. The audience score suggests this one has earned considerably more goodwill than the average content-shaped object. The real question is whether the movie can keep its nerve once the setup is established — because a good premise is easy; landing the thing without driving into a hedge is the difficult bit.
