A forgotten 1990s girl group gets an unexpected second chance after a rapper samples their old hit. Girls5eva follows four women trying to revive pop careers while adulthood keeps presenting bills, families and dignity as obstacles. Nostalgia meets middle age, and neither agrees to behave.
