Every Year After

Season 1 of Every Year After is here, because apparently the characters still had unfinished business. It leans into Drama / Romance, where everyone carries enough emotional baggage to trigger an airline surcharge. The rating says it has enough going for it to justify a look, provided the premise is your kind of trouble. The formula is familiar, but that is not automatically a crime; sometimes you want a series to know its job, turn up on time, and get on with it.
